Hey! I'm Dona, I'm Italian but I moved to Edinburgh in 2015 and I have lived one year in Jönköping, Sweden. I love meeting new people and making friends all over the world, and I have an infinite love for food! I'm trying to live my life to the fullest...not really sure what this actually means as it means different things to different people, but for me is just trying to catch any opportunity and experience as much as I can!

I love travelling and meeting new people, and I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to do both things at the same time. The most amazing things about CS are that you meet strangers who then become friends and you exchange experiences from each other's trips and lives.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love reading, short or long stories...it doesn't matter. I never go anywhere without a book in my bag. I love people and sharing adventures, so if I'm alone a need a book to read other stories. I feel like I've lived hundreds of lives because of all the wonderful and enriching books I've read. My favourite one is Siddharta by the German author Hermann Hesse. I've read that book over and over again, adding new notes to the edges of the pages every time. I felt a different person after having read that book...more powerful and unstoppable.

I love movies and TV series. I like any kind, it usually depends on my mood. ... I'm trying to write down a favourite one but every time I write one down I get another one in my mind. So as I can't find a fave movie I can say that my fave TV series are Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother and New Girl...well now I have some more I want to write down but it's probably for the best if I stop here.

Music...who doesn't love music? I don't have a favourite genre, it usually depends on how I feel and the situation but I can say I don't like heavy metal and electronic music. My favourite singer is an Italian one, Vasco Rossi. I'm really, really crazy for him!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I climbed a fjord in Norway and it was like a dream coming true. I still have goosebumps when I think about that moment!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love deep conversations, especially with people who are dreamers and do not follow society's standards. I always feel so inspired after those talks. I think sharing experiences and thoughts gives so much value to our lives.

Italian, Scottish and Swedish culture! I can cook some Italian dishes and teach you some Scottish words and phrases. Don't judge me for my accent tho :P
