📯 Let’s be honest. Like most of us here, at first I was a broke student and I saw CS as a really convenient way to travel - and especially to start traveling alone!

🙏🏽 It soon turned out to be so much more than just a free hotel. A really cool and unusual way to visit places and understand local cultures. I enjoyed so much spending evenings with the CS hosts while being quite independent during daytime to go around (though I really love being shown around as well when possible)

🚨I got used to getting off my comfort zone and I love the idea of feeling at home wherever on this planet THANKS TO YOU ALL!

⛺️So far I have only used CS as a traveler and have been blessed with amazing experiences and human encounters across Europe and Latin America. Now that I got a home of my own, I hope to give back and host as well to grasp the full CS experience!

🎬 I simply love movies (especially independent movies) and I am always in for some local advices and screenings while traveling. My sister is a rising movie director back in France!

📚 For years I swore I wouldn’t like it, but I’ve been a proud Kindle convert for years now - and it makes such a difference when living abroad. Everytime I read or hear about a book, I download it right away! Hence my reading list is wide from feminist essays to fictions and historical books.

🇷🇺 Traveled through Russia on the transsiberian train during one month, only staying with people through CS when I got off the train.

🚂 Took part in the Jagriti Yatra: a 2-weeks inspirational train journey across India to meet the country's most innovative social enterprises with 450 fellow youngsters.
