About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show the world not all Collingwood supporters are toothless, drunken idiots
ABOUT ME
Traveled the world between 2012-2013 through Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America and met some incredible people, saw some amazing things and had one hell of an adventure. Although I did not couch surf for all of it, some of my best memories came from experiences I had with my hosts!
Once returning to Australia, made the move to the beach and loving every minute of it. Now that I've somewhat settled down again I can repay the favor and continue the great CS legacy!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that everything happens for a reason. The people you meet come into your life for reasons you may not know yet, but every single person makes up who you are and brings light as to what you can achieve.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Had a great time being a surfer and know what makes for a fantastic experience! I'm happy to host when I'm around or just meet up for a drink and/or frozen yoghurt. Still love to surf when I'm travelling around myself! Always makes for a great holiday!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Walking through my host's door, him greeting me with an apple martini and then jamming with him and his mates in his music studio and finishing the night making s'mores! Incredible!
Other highlights would be going to see another host's gig in New Orleans, eating fish tacos in Orlando after spending the day at the theme parks, playing in the snow at Lake Arrowhead and climbing to the top of Pride Rock...in Mackay
Interests
Music is my passion. Love listening to it, going to gigs, playing (or attempting to play).
Love running! I go for long runs on my days off along the beach. No better start to the day!!
I love running because I LOVE food. Love making it, trying new stuff and throwing dinner parties. Always helps if there's a bit of grog involved!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Bit of a mix. Love my animations but also "scary", gory films and you can never go wrong with a Brit Com. I've got quite a DVD collection and would be happy to share a few with you!
TV: Flight of the Conchords, We Can Be Heroes, Arrested Development, My Family, Doc Martin, New Girl...anything that makes me chuckle
Music: too much to mention but some favourites would have to be Angus and Julia Stone, Radiohead, the Strokes, Little Red, the Beatles, Alabama Shakes, Jack Johnson, Vampire Weekend, Grouplove, the Wombats, Yeasayer, Two Door Cinema Club and the Temper Trap...anything on triple j pretty much!
Books: Hunger Games, anything by Chris Cleave...and do picture books count? Dr. Seuss was always great too!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding elephants in Luang Prabang has been one of the greatest things I've ever done! They are so huge, but so gentle, sweet and mischievous!
Exploring little villages throughout South East Asia and meeting the local people. Their life is so incredibly different to mine back home, and they are some of the happiest people I have ever met.
Dancing in an old fort in India trying to learn some Bollywood moves from a man who clearly loved the genre!
Sailing in crystal clear waters in Zanzibar and the Greek Islands
Einstein's brain at the Mutter Museum!!!
Puppet Parade in Paraty...so cool!
