ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a hardworking and fun-loving person. I feel very dedicated to my work as a musician and also value having new experiences and meeting new people from any country.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy many different experiences. I find myself the happiest when I have the freedom to travel and play music. I am accepting of others and am interested in hearing what motivates them in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am participating in the CS project by connecting with other travelers and hosts from all over the world in order to further the communities goals of creating peaceful cross-cultural experiences and exchanges. (No, I did not steal that from the CS website ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled solo in the UK and Netherlands as well as with my band, The Shy Birds throughout Germany, the US, and in Prague, staying with several Couchsurfing hosts and having many great experiences!

Interests

I love to stay active and exercise but have to wait a little longer to play sports because of knee surgery (volleyball accident). I enjoy walking and hiking as well as staying in and cooking healthy meals. I always enjoy seeing live music and love to jam with others!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy pop and rock but also am a big fan of Brazilian, Jazz and other world music styles. I enjoy club music and DJs in the right setting also :)

Moved to Berlin from 2013 till 2016 and met wonderful people and musicians out there!

I am professional musician and music teacher. I mostly teach guitar but also know some percussion instruments, music theory, voice etc... I enjoy cooking and am always up for learning new recipes and sharing meals!
