About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Obtain the wisdom of dogs but keep the hygiene of humans
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent college graduate in the United States hoping to see more of the world before I buckle down into a stable career path--as to what that path might be, I have no idea yet.
I have a tight-knit family that includes three sisters and sometimes it's like we have our own language. I love having that closeness and tend to look for it everywhere. I'm not much of a tourist--my favorite traveling experiences have always been just hanging out somewhere new.
PHILOSOPHY
All the great movements in history started as an idea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Dipping my toe into the water by being a hopeful participant--would offer a couch if I had my own place.
Interests
I'm absolutely mad about dogs: my house has always had at least one and currently has three. I also love books and environmental economics.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Amazing Screw-on Head, Dr. Strangelove, Hot Fuzz, Inception, Joyeux Noel, Monster's Inc., North by Northwest, Serenity, The Truman Show...
Music: anything that happens to strike a cord with me.
Books: All Quiet on the Western Front, Bartimaeus, Country Driving, Economic Gangsters, Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide, Hogfather, Holes, The Last Unicorn, Maus, Temeraire...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding on a packhorse through Inner Mongolia, the grass so green, the sky so blue, and the hills so rolling-soft it was falling into a painting.
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh gosh, there's nothing like making a list to remind you of all you have yet to learn...
In the job I unceremoniously quit to travel, I did social media marketing. I also have a mish-mash of cooking and knitting skills, so if you want to know about Chinese dumplings or making a scarf, I'm your lady. Always open to talking about dogs or economics, but I'm getting rather rusty on the latter.
I know a little Mandarin and would actually like an excuse to speak it again.
