About Me
(vaxxed)
Hi there! It's Jason from South Korea.
Im very friendly, easy going, kind, and respectful person.
One special thing for me is my world record.
Have you ever heard about the 4deserts race?
It's an endurance race held in the Sahara desert, Gobi desert, Atacama desert, and Antarctica.
and the person who finishes it all in a year achieves the "Grandslammer" title.
When I was 21, I achieved "The World Youngest Grandslammer" title.

It was really challenging because of a few reasons.
The total entry fee is about 24200USD.
I had never participated in a marathon at that time. To make matters worse, I had knee surgery while playing soccer, and I also had flat feet.
However, in the end, I made an effort and received sponsorship from famous Korean companies such as Samsung and SK, and set a world record.
I also won in my age group(20th) and as a team.
After my long journey, I am continuing my challenge by doing triathlon and giving motivational speeches. The challenge now I'm trying is to get into Ivy League universities in the U.S.
Very happy to see you all.
Hope we have a wonderful time together.
Best wishes to you and your families,
Jason Yoo(Donghyeon Yoo)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to share my experience with people.
In my opinion, the best way to relish travel is to share the lives of locals.
By feeling how their lives are, we can understand them.
So whenever I travel, I try to experience food, culture, history, and people(the most important thing) as much as I can.
I really look forward to making a new connection with friends from all around the world!
