Hello:) I'm very happy to meet you. My English name is Eddie. you could call me Eddie. I was senior student of major 'social work'. The reason why I choose this course is that I love the people. I want to live my life helping other people. I also love travelling. I almost finished my course but I decided to stop studying for a while, and started to go travelling. Since I was young, I really really want to travel in long term period. Whenever I get a chance, I tried to pack my back. Big backpack make me excited and give the feeling I'm alive.

Trough this experience I realize travelling is the one of the important part of human welfare. Now I'm thinking how could I combine these 2 things what I like, social work and travelling in the future job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The meaning of travelling to me is not the good hotel, nice view, comfortable transportation but to meet a local people and share our life. I want to be adapted new area. And I hope to know the secret places where the host likes.

In terms of that, 'Couchsurfing' is the good way to meet new friends. I regretted that why I didn't know it before. However, I knew this, I'm really exciting to what happen to me and who I will meet.

Additionally, when I finish my trip, I'm willing to become a host near 'Seoul'(the capital of Korea). Maybe my parents also like to invite new friends! If I can introduce my culture to travelers, It would be great! I can't wait this moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

As my favorite music, I love all kinds of music including guitar sounds. Such as Band music, country music, blues, worship songs etc. I'm the big fan of U2, Oasis, Jason Mraz.

The best movie I've seen is that "About time(2013)". I love the story and actors and view. Additionally, I was so impressed the lesson from it. The lesson is that "If we could go back yesterday, what will you do?" However, as we know, we can not travel in time. So if we do our best to live today life like the yesterday we regretted, it would be happier life. That's why I want to live my life for what I want by challenging my self.

The best book is actually Korea book which is a collection of poems. It has many poems written by international poet like Hermann Hesse, Jalal ud-din Rumi, Rabindranath Tagore and so on.. and also Korean poet too. I like to read a poem, because it makes me relax and fresh. If I could meet you I'm gonna share my favorite poems!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 years ago, when I traveled in Argentina I did a sky diving. I've never forgotten it. Until before few seconds I dive in the sky, I was kept regretting what I choose. But there was a guide on my back and he wanted me to go out of the plane first. I realized that there was only way I could go back to the land was jumping. (ㅠㅠ). Finally I jumped in the sky and it was really really super amazing! It sill fresh in my mind. But I don't want to do that again hahaha:)
