Overview
About Me
English, but living in Amsterdam. I'm well travelled and have lived and worked in the International Community for >20 years.
I love the city and all its culture and variety but like to often escape to nature for hiking, biking, mountains, lakes and skiing.
I enjoy cooking - and eating - and am studying wine so co-cooking and eating together would be great.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and I'm a xenophile. Local guides to show where the really good places are away from tourism is the best. I'll curate you an Amsterdam list based on who you are and what you like if you do the same for me in your city.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Let's share wine (or tea) and see if either of us can create shortlists of magical experiences and then vote for each others ONE best story... It might be a long night.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's cook and eat together and learn about food.
I have a CELTA qualification, so can help you with English if it's a 2nd language.
Please let me walk your dog
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest - I'm happy to help in any projects you have. I'm reasonably good with power tools and quite like cleaning. Even better if you have a garden or grow fruits and vegetables as I'd love to learn.
My apartment only has one bedroom, but I can offer you my couch. It's reasonably comfortable, but lacking privacy. Therefore, short visits are probably better.
