We are grain farmers in central Alberta. I enjoy gardening and painting , stained glass. We have two sons that are in training to take over our farm. We have another son who is studying geology. We also have a daughter living an hour away who is raising 3 lovely grandkids. We spend our winters in Mexico where we have a boat that we cruise in on the Sea of Cortez.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to see other places through the eyes of locals . It is a better perspective than we can read in a book or research on the internet.

Interests

Gardening, sewing , knitting. My husband likes keeping engines running , we have a farm. We have some horses, we used to ride and have horse drawn carrages we used to use. Now we want to see new places and drink more coffee and rum

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some white water kayaking and some amazing backpack trips in our Rocky Mountains. We have sailed in the Sea of Cortez.
