Hi,

I'm Donna, 38 years young and at long last about to start my dream of travelling. I'll bet a little scared but I'm sure once I get started I will never look back.

I have decided to make the step to go travelling through many personal reasons, but mainly I want a break from a stressful environment and stop and relax and take in the wonders of the world and meet new people.

I am unable to host anyone as I am living at my brothers till I leave.
Unfortunately I have no references yet as I have only been on couchsurfing a few months as I had never heard of it till I started planning.
I do however have my last employment Feb 2017 references and other references I can forward on to you.

UPDATE...
So I have now been traveling for near 4 months from Liverpool, France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy and Corfu. I'm now heading to Netherlands and Poland and eventually on to Thailand.
It has been on amazing adventure so far I have met some wonderful people who have now become great friends.
The world of travel is not as easy at times as I though it would be but I never want to stop those moments of stress are far outweighed by the magical places and people I have seen so far!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan to start my journey in Europe and then travel further afield and do volunteer work for a while and train to do a TESOL course and find paid work.
I want to try to find work as soon as possible to enable me to keep travelling.

I'm looking for people willing to take me in to their home to host me or to advise me on the local knowledge and if you are free come sight seeing for the day with me. I really want to camp along the way and do a lot of hiking and see the beauty of the world. If you have any tips on where to go etc that would be awesome. I want to learn new cultures and ways of life, so get in touch if you have a couch I could crash on :0) or if your free to hang out, be great to meet some of you fabulous people along the way and hear your stories!

I would like to add, as there seems there are many people on here using this site as a dating site! This approach is not what I am looking for! So I know that you have read my profile before contacting me can you please state what is your favourite food is and what food you do not like. Thanks :-)

I am here to meet / stay with people who want to show me their culture, things they are proud of their city, the history, the smaller towns and villages, social life and most of all people who want to go hiking and possibly camping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky dive for charity - the best feeling ever and would love to do it again and again!
I have also this summer set myself the challenge of walking up Snowdon and ScarfeIl Pike on my own, I hadn't done anything like that before and now have the bug and want to do many walks and challenges on my adventures around the world.
