About Me
CURRENT MISSION
is to meet very interesting people.
ABOUT ME
Although born and raised in Scotland, I have been an avid travel addict throughout my life, and love meeting and learning from new places and people. I am an easy-going person who equally enjoys exploring city night life as I do wandering mountain tracks. Good conversation amongst new people (preferably with a glass of wine in the mix) is the perfect evening for me, with plenty of laughs shared.
In this instance I can't wait to be away for an extended period of time on the opposite side of the globe to soak up some of the renowned NZ atmosphere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the moment, I am just hoping to meet some amazing people in an amazing country.
Give me a year to find my feet at Uni and the couch is open for business at my end.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Some amazing stays with amazing people in North America.
Interests
Wow, this is a dangerously general question, but I guess to be concise I'm most interested in learning, exploring, culture and reading. If there's a piano anywhere in the vicinity then you have been warned. I also love dance, debating, movies and hiking anywhere with good scenery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Horse riding across the Namibian desert was an unforgettable experience, if in part due to giant spiders. Would have to say Africa in general can take your breath away every day you're there, and only occasionally in terror.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give a pretty good summary of 18th -20th century western history (sexy I know), make a mean spaghetti bolognese, introduce you to sailing or give a crash course in navigation :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, United States, Virgin Islands, British
