ABOUT ME
I was born in beautiful Boulder, Colorado and have been fortunate enough to have led a very active life ever since that fateful day. Growing up I was outdoors a lot of the time. In Colorado the sun shines 300 days out of the year so I think that may of had something to do with it. That and the Colorado landscape is like a giant playground. I grew up snowboarding, hiking and camping. I went off to college to become a Poet (school mascot) at Whittier college in Los Angeles. I played football for the Poets and was elected Captain my senior year. I studied abroad in Denmark for one year doing different courses connected to study tours.Travel is a big part of who I am:Arabic Language Institute in Fez, Morocco (Language class 2 hours a day) (Research for journalism article on Fes Festival of World Sacred Music, Moroccoâ

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfsup! I participate by being open and eager to meet others involved in travel and exploration.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Working at a International school for American University students I've met many different people who love CouchSurfing. After speaking to two girls who CouchSurfed all along the coast of Morocco while hitting up water surfing spots I knew I had to try the furniture variety of surfing for myself. They recommended that I try it as they attributed their travel glories in a large part to the people who they met in the CouchSurfing community.

Teach, Learn, Share
(In Short)If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
“Sometimes a kind of glory lights up the mind of a man. It happens to nearly everyone. You can feel it glowing or preparing like a fuse burning towards dynamite. It is a feeling in the stomach, a delight of the nerves, of the forearms. The skin tastes the air, and every deep drawn breath is sweet. Its beginning has the pleasure of a great stretching yawn; it flashes in the brain and the whole world glows outside your eyes.”-John Stienbeck
My passion is fitness, nutrition and fun. "Everything's connected; the energy from one person flows to the next." Fitness and healthy choices helps us become what we all want, to be healthy, happy, and to feel connected.
