to live work love and serve in the community that we're in. Being good neighbors and friends. Finding contentment not by seeking something out but by making what we have that which we want and need.

ABOUT ME

I try to live a peaceful life with my husband; being helpful to those I can help and trying to make as little as a dent in our enviornment as possible. I love having people stay at our house. We keep it pretty hospitable when we know people are on the way, so feel free to contact us.

We're aspiring entrepreneurs and hope to strike a balance with the things we love and the work that we do enough to eat and sleep comfortably. Right now that means we both work full time while Nathan builds up a climbing hold business and a co-op bouldering gym. I've got my plans too, someday I'll open up shop and sell coffee and books to my neighbors.

On top of that we both have great families that live near by and friends scattered around the country, but we manage to keep close.

PHILOSOPHY

I attempt to live a life of faith and passion. I commune with my creator daily and have meaning and purpose by finding my definition not in the people or culture around me, but in the one who made me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I get a lot of emails from people new to couch surfing and sometimes a bit hesitant about the whole idea. It's pretty natural to be hesitant about such a thing so I just try and share my experiences with CS and hopefully get them more excited than skeptical about it. I was interviewed by Cleveland Magazine back in the day when I was one of a handful of folks in the NE Ohio area on the network. Glad to see that has changed! Drop me a line if you're curious about the project. Oh and we love hosting people and giving people advice/info about the area we live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly punk houses around the east/midwest of the USA. As for opening my couch up to others, mostly touring bands or friends of friends out on the road. We have had quite a few couch surfers stay with us in the past couple years and it's really been a great experience. I couch surfed in hawaii and met the greatest people who were so willing to share their lifestyle with us, it was great.
