Movies: A bout de souffle, other Godard, Trouffaut, etc., too; 8 1/2 and Fellini's others; Hitchcock made some good ones, The Royal Tenenbaums and others by Wes Anderson; and of course Menace II Society, etc...

Books: Joyce, Proust, etc., and the lost Fitzgerald and Hemingway; early influence from Salinger, Kerouac, etc.;
Shakespeare had some good ones...
recently Faulkner, Twain, and Nabokov.
