ABOUT ME

My name is Don, I live in Portland, Maine. I am a school teacher who enjoys people from all walks of life. I have spent a couple years abroad working and traveling and enjoy learning about other cultures. I live with one roommate in a two bedroom apartment, and I am always happy to have visitors and happy to show everyone around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly host. I have surfed a few times and all of my experiences have been really favorable. There are a lot of great people out there, and I enjoy meeting them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived abroad for about three years previously and I have always felt that couchsurfers made my stay in Europe much more fulfilling.

Interests

I'm interested in everything. I really enjoy good company and learning. I spend most my time reading, traveling and whatever else is at hand that seems interesting.
