ABOUT ME

Hellooo, I'm Jess and if you've watch the show 'New Girl' with Zooey Deschanel, I'm a bit like that. Not all the time, but, just for you to get an idea of me, watch this show haha
I have just moved back to Orlando for the next year and a half after living in Sydney for two and a half years. I grew up in the United States and moved to Sydney when i was sixteen, and i love living there. I have both a US passport and an Australian passport.
I had many plans/have many plans for the next few years of my life, which include moving back to Sydney and studying language there, moving to Deutschland and studying, and/or moving to Iceland and studying. But in the end, who really knows. I enjoy so many things, it is hard to name them all ! I love to cook and dance and sing/listen to music - doing all three at once is optimal :)

Sooo the next few things i've said to describe myself might either lead you to think "Yes! this girl! She's awesome!" or you might think "Ah Gosh, one of those, sheesh". Soo bear in mind that I'm not a crazy person thats going to push my opinions onto you AT ALL haha i just feel like its really important to me, its a big part of me, and that is all :)
I have recently adopted a 'plant-based diet' and eat fairly healthily. I eat a very minimal amount of Dairy, Sugar and Meat. I say minimal, because they're not completely cut out of my diet - I only eat Dairy/Sugar if its a special occasion and I eat Meat, once a week or once a fortnight, and its always the 'organic' meat. I LOVE eggs, and we get them from a farm down the road, so theyre free-range :)
I care alot about the well being of animals who depend on us to defend them and i care alot about human beings and how diet effects our health.

Whenever i can, i buy Fairtrade products or shop consignment. I love fashion, but i can't always justify spending even $20 or more on a dress or top that i know is actually worth less than a dollar and that the person who helped produce it was paid next to nothing. Luckily there are alot of awesome Fairtrade company's that have great products, if you want i can give you their names - and they're actually not much more expensive :)
Whew thas it. not so bad, huh ? haha

I have many aspirations, so many ambitions and i wonder which ones i will have time to accomplish, if only i could be 10 people at once ! :P
So many things interest me, and i'm bound to be introduced to new interests by any new people i meet :)

So many to name all at once. I have 10,000+ songs on my itunes, some artists which i still havent gotten a chance to listen to, yet i'm always on the hunt for new music :)

I love to watch films! if I could I would watch one everyday. I especially like finding out about the actors and directors experience while making the film - i guess you could say the 'behind the scenes' aspect of film making. I also like to think about a film quite a bit after I've watched it, I don't simply just watch for entertainment, i like movies that make me ponder :)

Books books books...ahum, I'm crazy about Harry Potter. Its a little embarrassing, but not embarrassing enough to make me not tell you that I love it :P But i like all sorts of books and really enjoy reading, fiction and otherwise. And I love poetry. I really like Wendy Cope, Phillip Larkin, Roger McGough, Rainer Maria Rilke, Maya Angelou. Ooo and Shel Silverstine !

- Witnessed a shuttle launch from Florida
- Seen the Great Barrier Reef
- Seen the Sydney Harbour on a ferry..not everybody may think this is a particularly beautiful thing to see, but, not everybody is in love with Sydney like i am :)
