About Me
I have been living in Budapest since I was born. I love my beautiful city, however, my goal is to travel as much as I can. I like getting to know new people and cultures. So many people call me Dora the Explora with reason, I have a tiny addiction to travelling. In 2018 I visited London, Alsace, Berlin and Copenhagen and I adored them. I am always up to a new adventure so please don't call me in the middle of the night with an affordable trip plan because I'll spend all of my money on travelling!
I work as a guide in Budapest, I adore organising activities and recommending places/restaurants to go based on the interests of the people. So when I cannot go abroad, somehow I still can feel myself in another culture. I work for a bachelor party organiser company so I have already seen the worst, you can imagine. I learnt incredibly lot in these two years such as solving problems quickly without showing anything towards the guests. I am so grateful to have this ALWAYS busy life, it never lets me sitting at home and getting bored, which I could not even survive.
I study at ELTE to become a teacher of English and Hungarian language. It's my third year and unfortunately, three more is waiting for me - so much work for a degree, isn't it? But most of the time I enjoy spending time at my uni, it's in the centre so it's pretty easy to combinate with work as well.
My next trip is a round trip in England 30 July - 12 August. We are going to Brighton, Bournemouth, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and London. Just drop me a message if you would like to show me the must-see hidden places and would like to listen to some crazy stories of my previous adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My addiction has reached the point where I cannot ask more friends to travel with me - they prefer spending some money on food as well, so boring! - so I am searching for some travel buddies or local people who would like to meet up.
Also, I cannot wait to be able to host some adventurers like me. Fortunately, it's getting closer and closer. :)
