About Me

ABOUT ME

Currently I am studying in Denmark, so I am rarely in Budapest and can't host at the moment.

In general I'm cheerful, active and creative. Some people say I complain a lot, but at least in a funny way. I have a sarcastic humor. Usually I get on with people easily, I like and enjoy helping others. I get enthusiastic about things easily.
My family is really important to me and I love my ferret, Süti.
I prefer plain, simple things, I'm not picky. I love birds, animals, plants, the nature, creative things and of course I like traveling. When I travel I prefer being independent
I don't like "been there/done that - check!" kind of things.

I appreciate genuine, sincere, humble yet talkative, friendly people. I like when people say what they actually think instead of saying what you expect/sounds good or what is more socially accepted. I find it super when someone has original ideas, and when what they do they do it with love, passion and enthusiasm.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to live my life paying attention to things around me and doing things that make sense to me and I can find a good reason for. I try not to waste my time and of course, like everyone I try to find things that make me happy :)

I don't like when people throw money around. It may be a Hungarian thing or just how I was brought up, but I think even if I was filthy rich I would still live pretty much the same way :) I don't like spending money on things that I think are not worth it.

I believe in that you should treat people how you want to be treated, and that everything you do comes back to you at one point. Having said this, I think I control my life with my acts rather than a superior power, call it Fate, God, The Universe, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING

I think it makes traveling more worthwile, and adds something more to a trip when you get to share things with others.
It's sometimes more about the people than the place itself, and that's the recipe to the best memories.
I enjoy meeting people and listen to their stories, learn from their experiences and I really like when I can help or be useful for others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN CS

I'm not completely new to CS, even though I didn't have an own profile I surfed quite some times and it always was a super experience.
At the moment I can't host, but I'm happy to meet people and help them out, show them around and do something :)

Interests

I like trying new things, and my interests are almost unlimited. I love the nature, plants and animals. I like outdoor things. I like art, poetry, painting, making things. I enjoy studying and learning languages.
I'm interested in other cultures especially fascinated by the Middle East. I like science (chemistry, biology, geology, minerology etc. - yeah, I like rocks and stones:) )
I like photography and taking photos.
I like skiing, ice skating, swimming, cycling, hiking or just walking when the weather is nice. I'm always interested in trying something new.
I like cooking and baking.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's lots

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked across the border of Malaysia and Indonesia in the jungle of Borneo (took 4 days though)

Swam with turtles on a coral reef

Lost everything I had on a (quite long) trip apart from documents, my camera and the clothes I had on, and learnt to enjoy not having many things.

Saw wild elephants from way too close :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve my Spanish, French and Farsi.
I would like to learn to play a music instrument (like drums or guitar)
I'd really love to know about carpentry and making furniture :)

I can teach you to make jewelry or other creative things, I can teach you some basic salsa steps. I can teach you to cook traditional Hungarian dishes, or quick&easy snacks and sweets :)
Of course I can teach you some Hungarian too
I'm happy to share my stories and thoughts about what I've seen and experienced.
I can share what I know about Budapest and the things worth seeing/doing here :)
