Overview
About Me
I am a book worm who has spent much more time reading about adventures than living any of my own.
Growing up in a very small town has given me an appreciation for rural and distant places. The last eight years living in Los Angeles has grown my curiosity and appreciation of other cultures; I find language exceptionally interesting—if only I had more time for studying it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To state the obvious: I want to really feel, down to my toes, each unique city I visit. More than touring, I want to learn what, why, and how people around the world do what they do.
Also, I can never seem to make it out of hotels on time... :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost all music, but I mostly listen to country (Luke Bryan, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks,..) or other American music (2 Chainz, Taylor Swift, Glass Animals...)
True Romance is my all-time favorite movie.
A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson is my favorite book. I also love reading Richard Rhodes, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Neil DeGrass Tyson, and other similar non-fiction authors. Astronomy is my favorite subject, but I enjoy reading about politics and history and just about anything!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived over twenty years without dying once! (Lets be honest, a lot of that credit belongs to Luck, ha)
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge is more useful than is made use of it.
Love is life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to share my skills as a stylist, as well as language exchange, photography, friendship, a gift from my hometown... really, I am open to however I can graciously show my gratitude, just ask! :)
