About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Save the inner child!

ABOUT ME

The basics of my life:
- finishing high-school of applied arts and design
- working on my graphic design skills
- living in a dorm

My plan:
- to get into University of Applied Arts in Vienna
- to get a flat in Vienna with a friend (or two)

In my short life I have lived in 3 different places: Rijeka and Zagreb which are cities, and Krsan which is a small village in Istria - all of them in Croatia.
Because of that, it turned into a habit for me to move to a new place every few years. My next destination is Vienna where I plan to go to University (hard-work and a bit of luck should do the trick). Once I get there I plan on lending my couch to kind surfers.

What I am always interested in:
- art and design
- music
- theories about everything from people to nature
- British humor
- tea and coffee
- environmental awareness
- innovative ideas and creativity
- learning new languages
- spontaneity
- cultural differences
- cooking and discovering new recipes

What you should be aware of:
- I'm a smoker (very considerate around non-smokers)
- flexible
- organized and tidy
- not interested much in partying/clubs

PHILOSOPHY

You should never lose your curiosity. As long as you are interested in learning new things, you are evolving.

Also, recently I realized that whatever I want to become and wherever I want to be one day, I have to try. Because no matter how hard some things might seem, if you try hard enough, some kind of help or some kind of a solution is always nearby.

One day I want to be one of the people whose name you won't hear over the media, but their work will be known for making a change. A constructive one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by surfing and informing others about this site, since I am not in a position to lend a couch for the time being. But that might change in the following year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am relatively new to couch-surfing. So far I have traveled to several places with my sister, but never by myself.
I am greatly looking forward to meeting new people, creating nice memories and learning new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a weekend in Susak this Summer for the Kite Festival which was like from a fairy-tale.

Going to the One on One festival in London and overcoming my shyness was a big victory for myself.

Traveling from London to Zagreb (Croatia) over Ljubljana (Slovenia) with not knowing whether I will get to Zagreb or I will sleep somewhere on the streets in Slovenia was so frightening at the time but ended as an amazing memory full of absurd moments and interesting people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning German and learning practical things about living in Vienna are my top priorities right now and if you could help me with that I would be really grateful to you.

What I can offer to you is a constantly growing knowledge about arts and design and I am always interested in sharing that. Also discovering new approaches to many problems we meet at a daily basis is something we can both simultaneously learn.
