About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to see the world !! :) Making meaningful connections with the right people to call friends and learn about cultures and life ! Have my little travel bucket list ready too... there are too many places to see but I will figure it out and see most of it at some point hopefully !!! :)
I have had some sadness following me through last year, maybe still does a little bit and just trying to find myself (like most of us I guess) and I find that traveling and planning a trip keeps me motivated and excited for life. Kind of always searching for something and being curious. Also climbing helps me too ! That's just good for everyone and everything :)
ABOUT ME
I used to live in Chamonix in the French alps for 7 years after leaving Hungary at 20, I first went there for a European climbing championship competition and fell in love with the mountains and it's spirit. It has now changed a lot but I'm still chasing the place where I would want to live and feel like I belong to and can call home.
I consider myself as a crazy but fun person, often unpredictable and spontaneous, sometimes too honest, I like a glass of wine and a lot of sports and activities. Now, at 40, also enjoy a bit more of a chilled life when I'm not adventuring..
I am moderately happily single and been for a loooong time except for one man for 2 years who then smashed my heart into tiny pieces a few years ago. But! He also didn't want to travel. So there's that. Better off on my own in general. :) I don't have any cats just in case you wonder. ... Hehehe
Currently in Scotland since 2016.
PHILOSOPHY
-if u can look back at something and laugh, might as well laugh at it right now
-People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Make new connections, learn from each other, learn about life and share experiences, cultures ! When I left my last couchsurfing host's home, I had some tears walking away heading to my next destination because I think we connected really well and I'm ever so grateful we met.. I'd like to make more friends like that for life.
Interests
I moved around a lot since I left Hungary when I was 20 and lived in different counties , mainly in Europe. I did make an attempt at uni after 2 years of college , wanted to study in no particular order: anthropology, physical exercise, Scandinavian studies, psychology, philosophy but the year I was accepted, there wasn't enough people for the class so I moved to France and had the best time of my life in the alps learning snowboarding and having fun, meeting a lot of new people from around the world and this is how I was introduced to couchsurfing as well. After 7 years in France, I moved to London and got my first full-time job in a ski shop .... Then I got trapped in the UK....
I love my yoga inspired work outs , my healthy food , my demon of wine and roll up cigarettes but hey it's all about balance!! I can get going and explore for days and days , or weeks or months, go through the wild and straining situations with no problems and when I'm back home I can just chill with movies or TV shows, go for a run, eat my soup and live like a boring nun as if I was a different person until Dora the explorer is activated again 😂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmmm I guess being a multiple Hungarian climbing champion 20 years ago and participating in world cups was something I'm proud of and it's hard to compete with my younger self but never stop trying haha
40 is the new 20 I think... ;) just now, in June , I was lucky Enough to volunteer at the Budapest Olympic climbing qualifiers . Best time of my life :)
Well known of my spontaneous travel plans.. I usually head of somewhere on my own.
