ABOUT ME

I'm a very uncomplicated girl living an uncomplicated life. I left Montreal last October to teach and travel. It was a long over due journey around the world, or rather parts of it, and now I am (for a while) back home and loving it.

I live as intensely and authentically as possible, not a day is boring I tell ya, and I live to learn and grow. I haven't seen it all but i've seen enough and a little travelling break is finally welcome!
Time to give back a bit.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to do my best, not make assumptions, not take things too personally and be as clear and honest as I can possibly be. I make mistakes, it's inevitable but I do try to learn and remember the lesson. And move on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm overwhelmed by such generosity. Shows that there's a lot of good people out there. Looking forward to meeting lots of travelers but I think it's the locals that make a place!

Interests

I read, just about anything and I am trying to write down this trip.
I loooooooove scrabble and backgammon, I practice yoga when I can, I walk, hike, bike. I like museums and parks, drinking beer on the balcony. I swing on special occasions, oh and I knit.

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
Great fan of Roald Dahl, Zadie Smith, Gabrielle Roy and Jonathan Safran Foer.

Films: Hitchcock nut, espicially anything with Jimy Stewart, Amélie Poulain, The sound of music (childhood classic), any Scandanavian movie like Emma's gluck and Ktichen Stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran away and joined the circus.
Left on a trip around the world and had a great time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I guess i might be able to share good and bad life experiences. I have a good ear and a healthy perspective on life. But I have still a lot to learn.

I can also teach English and French! Or how to play backgammon and to knit socks.
