So, I'm all about the little things that make you happy.
sitting on the shore and letting the waves hit your legs and recess.
A glass (oh, ok, a bottle) of wine with my best friend at the end of a long day (and making hangover breakfast the morning after);
funny cat videos on youtube;
hearing a song on a radio that brilliantly matches your mood and making you feel as if you were a movie character;
soft ground when i'm putting up a tent;
scrolling through library for half an hour before finding just the right book;
the unbearable lightness of being after a day spent in nature, good hike or riding a bike;
realising new episode of a show I've been wathcing is out, after i come home from work;
going on a one day trip just to fill your batteries and realising you don't have to go a long way to have a great time and see new things;
getting lost in all the plans and ideas i have for the future... (''You know me, I had plans, but they just disappeared to the back of my mind...'')

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because besides all of the little things, i also have a few big loves. Adventures, people and their stories, new horizons, different life views, lotts of laughs, fresh food, seeing that spark of recognition (i feel like we know each other for ages!!) in the eyes of a stranger...
I think that your couch is the best start to all of that :D

Interests

The usual stuff :P
-music(!music festivals!), books, movies, tv shows, art shows, theatre
-food (especially sea food), fine wines and a good beer
-history (but i find most of the textbooks boring), sociology, pshychology, cultures (people never stop to amaze me)
-hiking, cycling, motorcycling
-camping, hitchiking, sailing (the last one i went only once :( )
-sea, sun & fun :P (I am from Croatia after all)

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a tough one for me. I've never beeng good with decisions or picking out just one option... Give me all, I say! :D
It's easier to say what and which ones I don't like.
When it comes to movies, I'm really not into disaster movies (what's the point???), horrors (just beacause i mostly find them silly and predictable and not scary at all) and romantic comedies. But I think there are allways good exceptions, especially in European cinematography.
In music, just don't give me something I heard for the 10th time that week. I don't like being song-raped, even if it's a good one.
