Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSIONS
to stop searching and start finding, to abandon meat from my fridge, plate and shopping list, to learn how to enjoy the small things in life in more detail
ABOUT ME
Think I was supposed to be born as a cat but then something went a little wrong, the fur has been forgotten for a start...
never superficial, unreliable, dishonest and intrusive
rarely fast,bored,boring and without music
occasionally melancholic, sarcastic, quirky and dippy
often insightful,sceptical/ analytical, shy/introvert and stubborn
always late,genuine,selective, complex and realistic
28 but not grown up, convinced but not religious, slow but not motionless, close to nature but not out of the world, sometimes blue but with sparkle.
Not taking myself too serious but taking life (too?) serious.
chaotic with the desire for order.
indecisive up until the (late) point of decision making, very determined and persistant thereafter.
Other then that I am pretty easy going ;-)....
PHILOSOPHY
have to keep thinking on that one...possibly a philosophy in itself ?
I am also trying (I mean,trying...) to follow this one
"If Plan A didn´t work, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well,couchsurfing.com is telling me I have been a member since 2010,suppose I was a profoundly dormant member up until now...but I am in the process of getting this changed now! :-)
From now on
social get togethers and activities: definitely yes
surf: hopefully yes
Host: eventually yes (I just moved into my flat but aiming to have it couchsurfer proof some time soon)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Thought we already discussed this?
Next question...
Interests
Analysing everything and everyone (with a slightly sceptical/ cynical but curious approach)
taking (too many) photographs
Travelling and exploring the world whenever possible (ie not often enough) , with a particular interest in rural/ unspoilt countryside and the Atlantic ocean !
Working with children with autism and being intrigued by the way they perceive the world
Being somewhat creative (though more often then not with outcomes not worth mentioning)
Pondering and dancing to indie pop/rock/folk and enjoying live gigs
Being by the sea walking the south west coast path, playing in the ever so enjoyable and fascinating big blue wild water playground with my bodyboard, feeling the cold wind in my face, watching the waves dance and listening to the sea gulls sing, loving the remoteness and wilderness
Riding horses, adoring their gentle nature and loving their smell
Seeing films in little/ independent cinemas
Learning more about that strange thing called brain (and trying to trick/understand it before it tricks/understands me)
Being in good company of animals, including the peculiar species known as the human
Thinking, laughing, discussing and wittily debating over anything that´s more profound then small talk topics (Nothing wrong with a good arguement, but I am always right in the end- right!? :-))
spending too much time and money buying too many useless things,sadly...

Teach, Learn, Share
"I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious" (Albert Einstein)
Not entirely sure what I could teach people, other then cooking (i.e.heating up) microwave food,
rolling your tongue up like a sausage,
the important skill of excessive note making
and speaking german.
If you have enough time I can also teach you the alphabet, if you are lucky even in the right alphabetical order.
And of course all of the above I can teach in a very efficient, german manner.
