About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To change the world one person at a time and mostly by being the change I want to see in the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm gentle, easy going, very relaxed, charming, and very honest.

I'm a great cook and I even love cooking so its a good combination :) (I would love to cook something for you while I stay over as part of my gratitude for letting me stay).

I'm a singer songwriter in profession, finished studying music a while ago at the Jerusalem academy of music.
You could say that food music and art are my favourite hobbies :)

I'm totally NOT a party animal, I don't go out to pubs or bars almost ever since I don't like alcohol and I don't like the noisy and often smoky atmosphere(yeah I don't smoke either). I guess I also enjoy being in control more too - hence not liking alcohol.
A good night out for me would be a good restaurant instead...

I love the Internet and what it has to offer and how it connects us all so tightly ever since it has grown to become almost as big as us :)

PHILOSOPHY

I love life, and as long as I do it loves me back. Its as simple as that.
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return"
This is the secret of natural giving.

I also believe that everything should be free, access over possession can end all the world's problems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely none! I heard about this website just a few days ago! But I have slept over at friends house that I hardly knew before - does that count? :)

Interests

Music has always been a huge part of my life, singing is even a greater part since I will always sing, every day no matter what :)

Lately I started doing more of the backstage work in the music industry and I'm now part of a huge production of a music progressive rock festival that will be held in Israel in October. That makes me surprisingly just as excited as performing myself.

I'm also very engaged in all the recent uprising of movements that are trying to change our world and helping it become a better and more sustainable place, whereas my main focus is on "The Zeitgeist Movement". If you haven't heard about it - we'd have a lot of interesting enlightening things to talk about :) !

My latest passion is learning "NVC":nonviolent communication, the works of Phd Marshall Rosenberg.
I'm very excited about it and I believe that it can really make a change in the world if it can be taught and implemented more widely.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Monty Python movies, Inception, Waking life, The princess Bride and many more...

Music: this list might be a mile long... So here's at least a small part of it (not particularly in this order): King Crimson, Jeff Buckley, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Regina Spektor, Barbara Streisand, Gentle Giant, Queen, Sting, Flora, Shalom Hanoch, Eviyatar Banai, David Bowie, Claude Debussy, J.S Bach, Chopin, Frank Zappa, Focus, Jamiroquai, Eels, K's Choice, Racoon... And So MUCH more...

Books... to be honest I hardly read. Its not my thing, I totally wish it was, especially because when I do read a book and finish it I always feel like I'm a better person all of a sudden :) Anyway, Books I have read (and liked): Catcher in the rye, The Real Frank Zappa Book, The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A while ago, I managed to teach a down syndrom girl to sing nicely and in tune. Something I wasn't even sure was possible when we just started.

Teach, Learn, Share

People who weren't afraid to try things that scared them, even if it meant perhaps getting hurt and needing to start over again. I really admire that when people are strong in that way.

I love it when people teach me their little secrets of life, how to achieve serenity in their own way, and what do they find alive and wonderful in them.

As for me, I can perhaps teach some things about cooking, singing and share my knowledge in any other field freely.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, Netherlands
