About Me
Hi!I'm a Singaporean originally born in Taiwan but we moved to Singapore when i was 4 months old and lived there ever since! I stayed in Beijing for 4 years during my secondary school because my dad had to work there and it turned out to be one of the best few years of my life. Studying in an international school i got to meet people from all over the world and that definitely triggered my desire to travel! I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learning new things about different cultures, it's so interesting to find out how different things are in different countries! I love learning new languages too. Did a little bit of spanish and french when I was in secondary school (can't remember much but would love to pick it up again if i have the time) and currently focusing on learning German which I love!
To me what makes travelling unique are the people you meet along the way!I've always loved staying in hostels or meeting people through couchsurfing because you meet people from such different backgrounds that it gives your travel a whole new different experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's truly the people you meet during your travels that brings you the most unexpected surprises and experience!! Met some amazing people through couchsurfing whenever I'm travelling alone and it was an eye opening experience for sure!
Interests
Food- I love to try food from all over the world and I'd definitely call that my hobby. Eating is definitely a favourite pastime for any Singaporean with all the awesome good food that we have there!
Travelling- Was on exchange in Germany for 6 months and been travelling a lot and met such lovely people along the way sometimes it's hard to believe how random strangers can become friends just like that
Learning new languages- Yep love picking up languages and it's really the best way to immerse yourself in a country!
Playing the Violin- Been playing it for a few years now and joined a non profit orchestra a few months ago and I'm seriously loving it! I've played the piano since I was a little kid but there's just something about the violin that speaks to me more
