ABOUT ME

I am Doris from China, after a four-year uni study in Tianjin, I settled in Beijing with my husband Harry and two lovely cats. In 2025 we moved to Singapore to start a new life chapter!

I like to make contact with different kinds of people and open to new minds/ lifestyles. In traditional Chinese Taoism they say people has innate evilness, while I presuppose innate kindness!

I can be a social person while I need to save myself some quietness every day too. So you can both find me dancing/laughing at a party, and laying on the sofa/beach reading or just doing nothing.

My husband said I’m good at observing small things that people usually tend to ignore, I guess that’s from my profession as an HR 🤭

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

4/10-4/13/2014, surf in Nanjing, it's my first surf experience and I still keep in touch with my host friend until now!

I don’t usually surf a lot but I do host a lot and organize CS events, check my references :)

🎬 I watch a lot of movies in all genres (no horror though 🈲️) because I work in the steaming and entertainment industry so I got resources to find movies for free lol
movies I’ve watched for more than 5 times: Titanic; Harry Potter series; Avatar.
Movie genres I’ll usually search for when I don’t know what to watch: any movie related to WW2
I’m into fantasy, sci-fi movies and books, sometimes documentaries too. Very picky about love&romance ones as some can be time-wasting and cliche 🤔

✈️ Travel alone to many places like LA, Japan, SF, Abu Dhabi, etc.
🎎 Marry my husband :)
🤿 Diving during our honeymoon in Bali island and see amazing underwater world. It was my first diving and we went to as deep as 18 meters underwater 😳
🥾 Tried to hike in Yunnan Yubeng with the highest altitude of 4000 meters but didn’t make it, that allowed me to know my body limit, so I usually hike at low altitude areas.
