About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Oh, just the very small task of rewiring my brain to make it more user-friendly. Besides occult Buddhist practices and neuroscience ;-) simply throwing a ball around seems to help.

ABOUT ME

I am a communicator and *people* - understanding their personal and cultural languages - are what I revolve around. I brighten when people are around..and love it most when I don't need to act my (considerable!) age, but can just horse around like the overgrown kid I really am. So I guess playful ('creative?') best describes me but I also enjoy exchanging and weighing ideas, being challenged by passionate people with sharp minds.
I have a curious, experimental side that took me to far-flung places, developing whole new personalities (Brazilian and Indian) during my years living abroad.
Love simple activities like playing Frisbee in the park, swimming in lakes (or in the Ganges..brr!) and chatting and cooking together. Am currently experimenting with the Caveman lifestyle, eating unprocessed foods and following natural daylight rhythms.

PHILOSOPHY

Investigating and understanding each moment of life in its simplicity and complexity...being present for my own and other people's experience, listening acutely to their stories...because everyone has something I can learn and benefit from..know what I'm doing when I'm doing it..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a nomad I can mostly only show people around and help a little with my languages, and otherwise I try to share what I can of my amazingly rich CS and travel experience as a grateful guest - I do tend to cook quite a bit and help out where I can. :-))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been using CS for many years now and although I don't identify with recent changes, it has enriched my life considerably and I'm so grateful for people's amazing openness ans hospitality. This helps overcome many social ans cultural barriers.
