About Me
My family and I love to travel. We live in Germany, but my husband is from Ecuador, so we have spend our summer holidays almost always in Ecuador. Now that our two children (11 and 15 years) are older, we would like to visit other places as well. Please note that we don't live in Hamburg! We live in Buxtehude, a small city outside of Hamburg about 40 minutes from Hamburg central station! From the train station it's 2 km to our place and the bus connection is not that great (twice per hour), but it's possible to walk in about 30 minutes. The accommodation is in our attic, which is cosy, but with slanted walls, so it's only possible to stand up in the middle of the room. In addition there are steep stairs going up to the attic, so it's important that visitors are mobile and not too young ( older than 4 years), otherwise it might be a bit dangerous, although all children love it ; ).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Getting to know the people, speaking the language and understanding the culture is very important to us, so we are looking into the option of couch surfing, because it seems to be the best way to share time with locals and get to know their customs. We are open to receive travelers at our place as well.
