HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had great experiences surfing couches when travelling. Meeting great people on my travels made such a big difference, there are so many things I would never have seen or done without them.
So when not travelling, I would like to give some of these great experiences back to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The canoeing trip in Hungary with 50 others CSers got me hooked and here I am 4 years later, hosting and surfing whenever it's possible.

Interessi

I love to meet new people, and getting to know other cultures. I spend a lot of time going to concerts and also making music. But I also enjoy outdoor activities a lot, like hiking, riding my bike (even though I only have my holland bike to ride on) or canoeing. I also love to cook and to learn new things.

Musica, film e libri

Movies: amongst others Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, The Sting, Back to the Future, Shutter Island
Music: anything really that is well made and has some detail to it
Books: Jane Austen novels, The Possessed (Dostojewski). I lately read Freedom by Jonathan Franzen and can totally recommend it, so good!

Standing on the Great Wall overlooking how it"s winding through the landscaps for miles and miles.
Dolphins following our boat and making a sort of natural performanece as if they wanted to impress us
