About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel slowly through South America and meet amazing people along the way!

ABOUT ME

I love to get out there and have a great time. I'm loud, silly, random and passionate. Music, food, travel and genuinely connecting with someone are my greatest passions. Nothing like seeing the sunrise after a great night out with friends! I love to learn about others lives and we'll have one heck of a party together! Deep and philosophical about most things with a serious dose of optimism and naivety that life is precisely what you chose it to be. Decent cook when I'm in the mood. I use exclamation marks a lot! I try not to plan much and generally go with the intuitive flow of what's happening.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living a life of creation and passion for what you create. It's not about money or titles, it's about experiences and those that you share those experiences with. I try direct all aspects of my life towards this direction, be it through the work I do, the interest and hobbies I have and the people I meet. Life is short so make it an awesome!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing as a host and surfer but this is changing now. I will be backpacking through South America from December 2012 so most of my participation will be as a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have hosted a Czech couple for 3 days and met a Mexican PhD student for a drink. I intend to host and surf more!

Interests

Electronic music production and DJ'ing, travels, food & wine, a great night out, meeting interesting crazy people, talking trash and arguing about the ways of mankind. I read a lot, occasionally write and generally go with the flow. Fascinated with human interactions and almost never watch TV.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read loads of non-fiction include self-development, psychology, astronomy, travel, sound engineering and music production. I love art-house and comedies as well as fantasy and the occasional action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An Ibiza sunset at Cafe Del Mar. Everyone standing and clapping as the sun went down with drinks in hand, great friends in toe and Balearic beats in the background. Priceless moment! Every single day in amazing Cape Town inspires me, the most beautiful, incredible place in the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about music production and sound design, the world of software engineering and project management (if you feeling a bit bored) and random facts about space and psychology.
