Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I took part in CS last June by chance after having read some articles telling about the youth's experience when joining this website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted two foreign girl, one from France and one from Switzerland. They are all so nice. I took them around my province with visiting some pagodas, eating some special food.
I have surfed and been hosted twice. The first time was in Da Nang. Thanh (my host) was so friendly and helpful. She hosted me for nearly 4 days. She showed me around the city and even drove me to Hoi An and came back in the night. It was so amazing trip.
The second time, I went to Can Tho and was hosted by a girl there. She is older than me. I was with her one day, however, she asked me to pay 100.000 VND for her landlord, I do not know why.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Bali, Indonesia, I saw a toilet which absolutely looked like what we got in our old primary school a long time ago. Just a bucket, some water, no toilet paper. Oh my God. I think I could not use it. But, after all, I got used to it, and found it normal haha. It is definitely like the part of the 18th century haha.
