Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started my first couch surfing experience when I was travelling to Scotland with my friend Britta. Couch surfing is brilliant! You live beneath the main stream tourism with interesting people who know the city well. I was very touched by the hospitality I came to know. Couch surfing is great and I would really like to welcome people from all over the world to stay at my couch!
Interests
I like travelling around! I got to know some beautiful countries in Europe and Brazil. I was born in summer so I believe that's why I like warm regions but a short time ago I experienced Scandinavia and Scotland as very pretty and beautiful, it is really worth visiting.
I like to be active, wandering around and doing sports such as tennis, cycling and gym.
I like to be at the sea side. A child from the North Sea- always will be. Sailing is a great passion of my boy friend which I also discovered for my own.
I like to learn and hear about new things.
I like languages. Struggeling with new words, interesting sounds and phrases. I have a weakness for translating not existing phrases from German to any other language which (most of the time) is funny.
Swinging London. Tate Modern, Southwalk, Primrose Hill!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have just seen an fascinating artwork in Tate Modern, the art gallery in London south of the Themse. Its name was 'Sunflower Seeds' by the Chinese artist Ai Wei Wei. He produced a billion ceramic sunflower seeds in the past 6 years with the help of 1500 people from a small village in China.
It was just amazing to see how the mass of sunflower seeds, every single individual on its own, were lying in the big turbine hall of Tate Moder.
