About Me

ABOUT ME
Sorry! Not hosting at the moment, traveling Canada :)

I'm open-minded person, passionate about foreign languages, photography and getting to know the people around me. After having spent one year in Montpellier, Southern France (best!) I discovered the beautiful city of Leipzig which I can now call my hometown. Before I dive into my future job as a grammar school teacher I decided to travel British Columbia for a few months. I am not used to being alone, least of all to traveling on my own, but I would like to learn how feel comfortable with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just one of the best opportunities to meet great people, get to know them and their lifes in foreign places better. I like to go somewhere, not expecting anything and being rewarded by warm welcome, discussions on interesting topics over a good meal and a bottle of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

the kind of music I'm listening to depends on my mood, surroundings and the people I'm with,
I'm pretty much into Maghrebi literature (Djebar, Chraibi, Choukri, Sansal) and devoured the books of Carlos Ruiz Záfon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I hitch-hiked to Romania with 7 friends in summer 2013, we were hosted by a Couchsurfer in Bucarest. Eight chaotic german travellers, he kept relaxed - even gave us the key of his flat and went to Egypt.

― Ernest Hemingway

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share my knowledge of foreign languages and discuss cultural peculiarities.
