I was born and raised in

I'm currently in the process of obtaining my bachelors degree in elementary education with a focus in environmental studies. As of now, I have the first two years of my degree completed and when I return from the current trip I'm on (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina), I'll start university at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. I'm so excited!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to find, make, and keep new friends from around the globe during my travels and while those gems of individuals are cruising through my neck of the woods. I love being able to have first hand cultural experiences with locals and getting an inside look at where ever I'm traveling... I think couchcurfing provides a perfect vehicle for that!

I love traveling, art, dance, music, festivals, FOOD, food, food, cool and wacky historical stuff... anything quirky and weird is my thing :)

When I'm either at home or abroad, I love visiting art galleries. Contemporary is probably my favorite but I love visiting photo galleries and temporary exhibitions of well known artists and blossoming ones. I think visiting art galleries in a city really says a lot about the culture, what's important to the people, and can say a lot of about history as well.

I also LOOOOOVE performance art! I danced ballet for almost 10 years and I adore going to the ballet. If I had it my way, I would attend a ballet in every major city I visit. But it's an expensive hobby! I also love modern and contemporary dance and I'm very open to all kinds of dance :) it's all gorgeous! In the last few years, I've gotten into circus arts as well. I'm a very casual Hooper but I love watching ALL circus/object manipulation art forms. Aerial/silks is incredible but I also love seeing jugglers, stilt walkers, clowns, fan dancers, fire performers, everything really!

Once I'm home, I would love to share my home, city, and the whole Pacific Northwest with fellow surfers. It's a gorgeous area of the US with fabulous activities in nature that would make for some super awesome adventures!
