About Me
Hello!
I'm a twenty-something American who has been 15+ countries on 5 continents. I'm hoping to get to the last two continents (Australia and Antarctica) soon. I love to travel in the US too. When traveling (or not) I love using public transportation, trying new food and seeing live shows.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and want to support international travelers.
Interests
For 2 years I worked in international education with college students so I am very interested in new cultures and traveling. Now I'm in a masters program in Educational Psychology. Once I graduate I hope to work with university students in a counseling setting. Other hobbies/interests are reading, writing, gardening and baking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read so it's difficult to narrow down but if I had to list my current top 5 books they would be - The Bell Jar, Catch-22, Lord of the Rings, Tenth of December and 84 Charring Cross Road.
Music is another passion- I love Joanna Newsom, Belle and Sebastian, Arcade Fire, Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Borns, Jose Gonzalez and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled around the world on a ship for a semester in college.
Teach, Learn, Share
I work with international students so anything international/higher education related is always a topic I like to discuss. My students are always taking risks by living in the US for a year and they always inspire me to challenge myself so when I travel I try to do things that scare me a little bit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and try new recipes so if you host me I would be an enthusiastic cook :)
