ABOUT ME
Here comes the mathematical equation of the 'wee lass'.
Dorothy Yang = learning to be open-minded + slightly sporty + adventurous + good at self-entertaining + laughing a lot + a weird sense of humour
I lived in the city of my dreams - Edinburgh from 2010-2014. Bonnie Scottia!!
I am currently living in Shanghai and working at a photographic art exhibition.
PHILOSOPHY
'I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.' --- Dr. Seuss

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally speaking, I love a slice of everything. But you need to know that in my world there are only:
Movies: Horrible and non-horrible ones
Music: Noisy and non-noisy ones
Books: Hardcover and non-hardcover ones
More specifically....
Movies: Animation, fantasy, epic, musical, rom-com, slightly chick flick, but no horror ones.
Music: Jazz, classical, folk, R&B, pop, rock, but no soundtrack for horror movies.
Books: Fiction, detective, fantasy, sci-fi, autobiography, slightly romance, but no thrillers.
P.S. Everyone should know that I LOVE Studio Ghibli and Joe Hisaishi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have learned to play Chinese lute for 13 years. -->
Held a solo concert in China. -->
Extremely nervous. -->
Played out of tune many times. -->
The impressive thing was that no one could hear the difference. -->
Simply because they knew nothing about what I was playing -->
Oh yeah, success! (A big goofy grin)
