About Me

Well... I am a 24 years old girl, who lives in Budapest. I like living here, because there are so many cultural programmes that are interesting for me. Music plays a central role in my life: I graduated at the Music Academy this year. I play the violin and the piano. I like conducting and I sing in the New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir and in Jazz And More. I have an own musical studio with my boyfriend for children. So you can see I'm open and I'm interested in more genres.
I'm engaged :) we are together from 2006 December (already 9 years...)
My horoscope is virgin, and I think most of the features of this sign fit me.

! I am not home in July and at the end of August!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling and meet other people with other cultures and music! I think on one hand cs gives a wonderful opportunity to explore the world even as a student, and on the other hand you can practise and develop your language skills. I don't believe that you can learn a foreign language just from books.

Interests

Besides music I'm interested in dance and aerobic . Dance step can wake me up and spinal training is the most relaxing for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a musician the list of my favourite music pieces would be so long, that I can't write down them all. But here are some, that are really close to my heart:
Bach: Violin Concerto in E major, Mozart: Die Zauberflöte, Wagner: Fliegende Holländer, Orff: Carmina Burana, Bartók: Concerto, Rapsodies
Chess- the musical, Webber musicals (Phantom of the opera, Cats,...), Wicked,
Modern Art Orchestra, ZeneHajó, Mrs. Columbo, Real Group, Swingle Singers, Mariah Carey, Beyonce

I don't go very often to the cinema, but the most enjoyable Hungarian movie in the last 10 years was the Rókatündér.
At home I like watching and laughing on Family guy.

My favourite books are :
Glasperlenspiel from Hermann Hesse,
Flowers for Algernon from daniel Keyes,
Gone with the wind from Margaret Mitchell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is not one thing that I want to write about, but it happens every year in August: it's the freshman camp! There is a unique community at the Music Academy, where the members are students and already graduated students. Our task is to organize the camps in the summer. Every camp is an unforgettable and unrepeatable experience, because we choose an other theme every year. There are fixed programmes and there is a story that we perform in scenes for the freshmen. It is interactive, funny and exciting. But for me the most amazing thing is the teamwork and how we do it together.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Hungarian folk dance and music :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do a quiet strict diet (it is the metodic diet), so I am happy if I am allowed to cook for myself. I have experience in the kitchen, so don't worry about your cooker or oven!... :)

Countries I’ve Visited
