Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Doruk, and originally from Istanbul, Turkey. I'm a computer engineer and have worked as a software developer for five years. I don't want to bore you with the technical terms so let me continue to inform you about myself :)
I moved to Amsterdam recently. It is the most tremendous change in my life. Still, I'm a software developer, however, I might own a cocktail bar ten years later, who knows? As you see, I'm interested in mixology. I'm trying to learn to make stunning cocktails.
I was a part-time student and a part-time Salsa dancer during my university years. I participated in some dancing contests in Istanbul, however, I couldn't succeed. I have some near future plans to return to Salsa.
I had been doing Aikido for 13 years and had a black belt. I cannot mention how I was successful in Aikido competitions because Aikido doesn't have them :)
Before Covid-19, I traveled around Europe to see new cultures and meet new people. I have a dream about visiting all of the major cities in Europe and then jumping into the Americas. We are in the post-pandemic era, and I hope so, that's why I can continue to follow it.
What can I offer you?
Although I am new to Amsterdam, I will do my best to discover this marvelous city asap. So I can help you to explore, too. Furthermore, I will be happy to offer a couch, if I am available during your journey.
