Overview
About Me
Currently on exchange in Italy, so can't really host.
20 years old, living in Turkey, studying Business at Ozyegin University. I'm a big cinema fan and also a photographer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love exploring new places and cultures. I think the best way to achieve that is to meet and stay with locals and live the life of a local.
Interests
I am really into exploring anything; new foods, new people, new books, new ways of thinking, new places...
The focal point of my life is cinema at the moment. With me realizing that I made the wrong choice with choosing business and not cinema for my degree, I started trying to become a self-taught director. For now, it hasn't been going that well as I watch and watch and watch but never create.
Music is one of my biggest passions. I am a really passionate jazz listener and I tried to play tenor saxophone for a while but I wasn't really successful with it, but I am planning to improve on it when I get the chance. I love talking about music and I would love to exchange some music.
I love partying! But I also love long conversations on a calm day.
Despite my interest in arts existed for a long time, I have started reading and learning more about art& art history recently. So there are lots of things I still don't know and I would like to learn a lot more about any form of art.
I enjoy degustation; beer, whisky, coffee...
I have been a debater for 5 years now although I wasn't really active last year. I used to teach how to debate in our debate club. I have had some success in Turkey and I am hoping to compete in some European tournaments too.
I love reading philosophy but I think a better way of learning philosophy is talking philosophy!
I also love nice poker nights.
