Overview
About Me
My boyfriend and I are currently living in Valparaíso, Chile while he studies at University until 2018, and we would love to get to know the country in the short time we are here!
I'm a happy, relaxed and curious Englishwoman, who loves to discover, play, create and be. I am a bit of a nomad and philosopher, and my compass is my heart that leads me to whatever it resonates with. Currently, it is taking me on the path to self-sustainability, so I am exploring areas like organic farming, eco building and economic independence, as well as exploring myself through music, dance, art and philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with the open and kind people of CS and share time, stories, food, adventures and laughter. To know new places with a local's perspective and go on some journeys. To provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay in my apartment, cook you tasty vegan food, and show you around my city (when I am not backpacking).
"If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine; it's lethal" - Paulo Coelho

Music, Movies, and Books
Feelgood music, the classic melodies to the abstract noises. I have a huge range of musical influences: Reggae, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, World, Blues, Rock, Cuban, Flamenco, Folk, Singer-songwriter, Trip Hop, Electronic, Jungle, DnB. Music made for love and evolution, not just for money.
Philosophical, foreign and independent films are my favourite - some great directors include Jim Jarmusch, Richard Linklater, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Sylvain Chomet, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Pedro Almodovar, Alejandro Inarritu, The Cohen Brothers...
I read all sorts of books and articles if they look interesting. I also like to watch talks, lectures and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Become. Transcended the boundaries of time/space and ordinary stuff like that... Sometimes we see more with our eyes closed!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently a self-employed English teacher, so if you need some grammar tips I am happy to help! Otherwise, I'm knowledgable about music, films, food and other worldly pleasures.
