My name is Dory (like the fish), and for the past two months I've been living in Taipei, Taiwan. I've been looking forward to traveling more and documenting my travels throughout Asia. I run a travel blog and love to take photos throughout my travels (if you're interested it's dorynfine.com). Anything creative is something I'm interested in. Oh yeah, I'm lesbian and I have a girlfriend, so I hope that's not a problem. Her name is Rachel.

Anyway, I love the outdoors, but I can also appreciate cityscapes. I'm pumped to be seeing the world before I settle down into a job (hopefully not behind a desk) next year when I graduate. One cool fact about me is that I can breakdance, which most people find surprising because I'm pretty short, only about 5"2.

I love to travel and meeting new people- a generic opening phrase, but it's very true. I tend to strike up conversations with people wherever I go, and I've made some of the greatest friends that way. I hope to meet new friends along the way and that's why I'm excited to join Couchsurfing.
