ABOUT ME

i make butterflies for a living. it's hard to think of anything better than spending the day hiking around and photographing beautiful places. i live for warm weather and the sweet scents of nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I recently ended my career as a working stiff in favor of self employment as an artist. The philosophy I'm trying to live by now is simple and can be summed up in one quote:

“Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action” -Benjamin Disraeli

I don't have a lot of CS experience, though I did stay with a wonderful couple in London and hosted a fun Florida girl. Both were great times.

i love david lynch films, particularly blue velvet. i like anything with gorgeous visuals and camera work or quirky characters and a charming story.

musically i lean toward independent artists, but i'm open-minded.

i mostly read audiobooks these days. i enjoy sci-fi and non-fiction, and also listening to educational material like university lectures through itunes.

the most amazing thing i've done is liberate myself from my office day job to pursue my dream of making things for a living. i feel more free and successful than i've ever been, and i know this is just the beginning.

as for learning, i think that's what we're all here for, right?
