I have turned travelling into my lifestyle and like to work in hostels around the world. I particularly like it when they pay me!

ABOUT ME

I am a laidback, fun British girl. I quit my job in 2009 and have been travelling ever since. I spent two years living and working in Australia and 16 months of working in New Zealand. The rest of the time I travel and work in hostels and guesthouses for accommodation. I love staying for a while in a country to really understand the culture of a place and its people. I've made some great friends on my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simple: I like socialising with locals and other travellers.

Interests

Reading, writing, making things out of felt, puppets, walking, having a drink with locals. Just going out there and seizing life and meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, I have seen so many things in the past seven years! Backpacking around Syria is special to me because of the conflicts there now. Also Easter Island was amazing, Petra and trekking in Nepal.

Hmm, I can help you plan a holiday! I can also teach you some sewing if you're interested (most people probably aren't!!). I like talking and I'm probably more interested in what you have to say.
