About Me

I'm a Development Director and professional coach working for large tech companies. I've lived in Los Angeles for 12 years and was born here. I know Los Angeles very well. I'm a big fan of museums, history, great views, and amazing food. One of the reasons I can just never seem to tear myself away from this city is because it's honestly one of the best food cities in the world. Sushi all day.

I also love all of the local bars, restaurants, lounges, comedy clubs and great views throughout the city. There are too many places to count around here and I love to show people around and take them to the fun places in town. (Off the top of my head Beverly Hills, WeHo, Santa Monica, Venice, DTLA, etc). I am rarely one to stay around the house as I like to be out and about. If you stay here I'll likely drag you out to cool local spots and show you around :).

I love meeting and interacting with new people and I travel often. I've visited Korea, China, Czech R, Austria, Germany, the UK, Poland, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Greece, France, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, and more.

**ABOUT THE PLACE***

I live in a very nice apartment building in an area called Mar Vista. I'm very fortunate to be here and there are a lot of ammenities.

1. My couch is brand new and can convert easily into a queen-sized bed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOeNPGFvBqg
2. About 50 meters outside of my front door is a large swimming pool, Jacuzi (spa), and a full gym in the complex. There is also a ton of room for laying outside in the sun and outside BBQs if youre into that.
3. Around my building is a beautiful neighborhood that has a Whole Foods, Ralphs, CVS, many restaurants, a large park, starbucks, and more. All of these things are within a 5-10 minute walk.
4. There are a ton of amazing lounges, bars, and restaurants close by I can show you if you want to get out of the house and have a good time around the area!
5. If you need relaxation time from all of the running around there is a TV in the living room with an insane amount of media (basically every streaming service and a bunch of stored movies and shows).
6. If you need to do laundry I have a full washer and dryer inside of my apartment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through instagram and just touring the world I've run into to many interesting people. As I've traveled some of the most powerful experiences have been through randomly meeting other travelers and locals in other countries. It has created lifelong memories for me and some very meaningful relationships. I love to show people around and help them experience the city I love. There is so much more to Los Angeles than the basic touristy reputation it has (Hollywood, etc).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classical, 80's pop, 90's gangster rap, 90's alternative, classic rock, jazz, and ska.
Movies and Books: Too many to count. I love nonfiction (history, anthropology, pyschology, etc). I love most film in general. Don't focus on a particular genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the team that built League of Legends- the biggest online game in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

In my work I teach empathy, listening, the coaching practice, technology management, leadership, and organizational theory. I can talk about all of this until the cows come home but I won't bore you.

The coolect thing I can teach is the value of mindset, psychology, and pushing ourselves to learn in a world that changes constantly. I do this every day for work and in my personal life.
