Overview
About Me
I possess an international certificate of Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International. Besides my native language which is Haitian Creole, I speaks 3 languages (French, Spanish and English) very fluent in English which facilitated my Fellowship at Rutgers States University specifically at the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (SBDC) where I developed a Monitoring and Evaluation tool that helped measure the progress of the SBDC training program.
Upon my return from my Fellowship, I designed a project and obtained a grant from Partners of the Americas where I delivered business training to 10 people living with disabilities in Croix-des-Bouquets, Port-au-Prince Haiti.
I also proceeded with the same project ideas but with a new orientation where I designed and submitted another project to empower Haitian women. An idea to educating 40 women living with disabilities through business literacy and management and with this project idea I won the AEIF 2014 (Alumni Engagement Innovative Fund) highly global Innovative Project Competition for Haiti for the first time.
I am a team player and got involved in many sustainable project activities at the same time, matter of fact I recently presented my community projects at the Civil Innovation Lab international organization in the Dominican Republic and developed a network with organizations that are helping vulnerable communities in Barahona.
I participated in the International Professional Exchange program last year where I presented a sustainable project at the American Congress among 239 international professional Fellows in Washington DC and also had breakfast with Senator Al Franken.
