Overview
About Me
I'm a writer, editor, and sometimes musician from NYC. I love a lot of different music and go see as many concerts as I can. Also love film, theater, and good food (but not meat, I'm a pescetarian). I appreciate New York for all its culture and diversity, and try to experience as much of it as I can!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet as many new people as I can, and learning about other cultures and customs is always fascinating to me. Since I can't travel all the time (although I would love to!), the next best thing is to meet people from other places here in NYC.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love 90s britpop (Oasis, The Verve, Blur) and grunge music (Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam) and also a lot of alternative hip-hop and pop. These days I really like bands like Bastille, Wolf Alice, and Black Honey. And Kendrick Lamar - I think he's the most interesting person in music at the moment.
I'm into all kinds of movies. Last year I saw every movie that was nominated for an Academy Award, but this year I've fallen behind a little bit. I love quirky indie films, but also big Hollywood movies, especially the Marvel movies. :)
With books, I prefer things that are a little magical or out-of-the-ordinary. My favorite author is Neil Gaiman. Also a big fan of Vonnegut. Right now I'm reading 2666 by Roberto Bolaño. Oh, and Harry Potter, of course.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the lead singer in an NYC band called The GoStation.
