About Me

I love to get by on the cheap when I am traveling. I'm resourceful and strong willed. Practicing kindness and openness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first learned about couchsurfing from a backpacker in Kansas City when I too was backpacking. He had that openminded and warm attitude I've come to know from all couchsurfers and hosts.

I am traveling across this great wide world and appreciate all of you on here.

Interests

Seeking more interests. I'm open-minded so any and all may apply! A few I have are hiking, climbing, poetry, photography, video art, cooking, exploring, yoga, chi gong, and energy work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books I find Magnificent: The Song of Fire and Ice series, World War Z, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Anything Don Delillo or Kurt Vonnegut...

Poetry Books I find Groovy: Lichtenberg Figures, Allegiance, Zam Bonk Dip...

Artists I find Swell: Metric, Mirah, MGMT, Miike Snow, Muse, (And those are just the M's!)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled across America, from DC to LA by subway, train, hitchhiking, semi truck, more train, ride share, airplane, yet another train, more hitchhiking and another ride share. Met some wonderfully kind and beautiful souls along the way.

Lived in New Zealand, out of an old minivan, for a year. Climbed a mountain of two there. Surfed and worked on a vineyard or two. Met some amazing souls.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are all teachers for everyone. I'm learning what i can share and teach. I can teach poetry, the language of the soul. I would love to learn more Latin dancing. I enjoyed kizomba the one time I tried it. Please share some food, fun, & friendship.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My ever evolving Self; good times; recipes for madness; awesome dance moves; tools, tips, & tricks.
