About Me

Someone who knows me well once said that I'm the most interesting person he knows and the least interesting person he knows. I think that's pretty accurate.

I don't do much. I don't have hobbies. It scarcely crosses my mind to "go out". I'm mostly content to just sit with people and talk. I guess that's what makes me uninteresting.

I like to talk about the deepest, scariest, most beautiful aspects of life. I have little interest in talking about music, movies, fashion, etc. I can talk American football a bit. But I'm bent toward matters of personal importance. I guess that's what makes me interesting.

I like to write and cook, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not much of a traveler. But I'm making a pretty significant trip soon (Summer 2017) and a friend advised that I get on here to find lodging.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Prestige, I Robot
Music: Needtobreathe, Josh Garrels, Phil Wickham, Dustin Kensrue
Books: I think of myself as a reader, but I'm not. I buy books 10x faster than I read them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English pretty well. I'm not certified in ESL by any means, but I have a talent for it.
I can cook a small number of dishes pretty darn well and I'm getting better at making stuff up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Oh, I thought that's what the last section was for...
