About Me

CURRENT MISSION

top the previous year of adventure!

ABOUT ME

I run a small technology company that develops accessible computer interfaces for blind and visually impaired users. It's still new and growing but it's a great adventure and taking me all sorts of new places.

I love to share and trade stories of traveling and life with anyone and everyone! I have both hosted and surfed through couchsurfing and will do my best to help make a positive experience for everyone :)

PHILOSOPHY

Go new places. Meet new people. Do new things.

I think you should try and have a story for every day of your life. I have moderately liberal political views and am not particularly religious in any way, but I do respect those who are or see things differently than I do. There is way more that you can learn from a diverse spectrum of opionions, beliefs and perspectives than from mirrors of your own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and seeking couch surfers wherever and whenever possible. Convincing the skeptical that couch surfing is an awesome way to travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and traveled as a couchsurfer and it has made visits to many of the cities in my travels so much richer than they would have been otherwise. I always look forward to surfing abroad and exploring new worlds of culture and interest that await in fellow couch surfer's homes and habitats!

Interests

any and all types of bicycles! maps, geography and urban studies. Cities and culture and counter culture. Camping and the wilderness! Music, photography, and unique manners of expression. stories, recipes, and new traditions! Dogs, cats and humane animal training.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is probably The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran or Robinson Crusoe. I'm a nerd for old school sci-fi and I try to make a point of reading the lord of the rings and the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy (series) every summer. I love all sorts of music, except new country. Favorite Movie would definitely be City of God.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month sailing on a tall ship off the coast of Nova Scotia and it was one of the most majestic modes of travel I have ever experienced!

Riding Mustangs over sand dunes and along ocean beaches in Chile!

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't plan to far ahead otherwise you'll miss out on things you want to spontaneously make time for.
